Oh I’m so here for this!!!! Thank you Erin! I buy Expess blazers, a lot. Ok Erin I have to brag on you!!! Since changing my Boho look to your styles of suits for work I’ve gotten so many compliments! The younger girls at the office say I win the best dressed in our office. So much fun wearing classy looks! Thanks Erin

I’m a teacher, and following your guidelines has me getting all sorts of compliments from students and staff. I do find I can get away with nicer shorts (not Bermudas) at school so long as I style them with a blazer and loafers. However, at my former school, probably not.

I am a real estate agent in a small town in upstate NY. Your channel helps me look polished & classy--whether I'm sitting in the office or travelling all over the county :)

Hey Erin!
I love your content and appreciate how positive you are. I wanted to also tell you thank you for how inclusive you make your language. I have noticed a shift with you in the last year or so where you started saying partner or significant other instead of spouse. This is such a small thing, but really makes an inclusive impact. As the mama of an LGBTQ kiddo I appreciate content creators that think of everyone when using language. I also think it says a lot about who you are as a person and your character. I know standing with and saving space for others can make some business owners concerned about the financial impact on making such decisions. I’m grateful that you have chosen kindness and love. Thank you!

Hi there and my name is Trish. I'm an attorney with the Department of Defense. I love your channel because after two years of teleworking, my wardrobe needs a refresh! Thanks for all the info! I'd love an episode geared towards people with specific body types or issues and your favorite brands to address them, e.g. waist-to-hip ratio, larger busts, thick legs, etc.

Hi! I'm the Dean of the Library at a medium size university. (side note--I've lost quite a bit of weight over the past 6 months and this channel has been INVALUABLE with revamping my work style for my new body!). My uniform is slacks or jeans, a top, and a blazer for meetings. I usually do a neutral top and more vibrant blazer or vice versa. I'm a sucker for fun necklaces--kicks up an outfit without requiring too much thought.

This summer I've been wearing a lot of navy and white as my neutrals, with bold pinks and lighter blues for color. I also invested in a few linen jackets this summer as part of my larger wardrobe refresh, and I LOVE them. Today is a no-meeting day and summers in higher ed are a bit more dressed down, so I'm in grey loafers and slacks, a white tee, and a pink, green and blue tropical-ish print button up layered on top and tied around the waist. Finished the look with one of those multi-strand paper clip necklaces in silver. If I'd had a meeting today I would have ditched the button-up and gone for one of the more colorful linen blazers, either a hot pink or aqua.

I am a Marketing Coordinator. I work primarily with copywriting/content creation. Our office dress code is quite relaxed. We can wear pretty much what we want, within reason. But I love to wear blazers and pretty dresses. So I do. 💃

Hi Erin, I love your videos. I am a co-owner and a COO in an energy company - it’s our family business and we are more or less smart-casual, but we always appreciate when staff is trying to wear smart & stylish clothes and it visibly helps them to get “into the work mood”, they take their job much more seriously and it’s definitely much more professional than just be casual. Thanks for great styling tips.

I’m the Director of my own company in the UK and business meetings with venues are looming! I’ve followed you for over a year and thanks to the tips I’ve picked up from you, I think my wardrobe is ready 😊

Our office is business casual, so wearing suits makes people wonder if you're going on an interview later. 😊 I'd love to see a business casual ideas video.

I am a Database Developer for a municipality.

Im a social worker. When COVID hit we all started working from home and now aren’t going back to the office. When I did work in the office, most of my colleagues dressed much more casually than I did. It’s been difficult to transition to a more casual wardrobe. I’ve always enjoyed dressing up for work.

Hi Erin! I work in an office as a commercial interior designer. It’s a creative environment so I like to have fun with my fashion and push the envelope. Like you say, drama in the wardrobe not in my life!

Hi, Erin! I'm Stacey and am a nurse supervisor. I wear navy blue scrubs literally every day 5 days a week and, before I stumbled across your channel a few years ago, wasn't the best at putting together nicer outfits for evenings and weekends. Now, even my 24 year old daughter borrows my clothes. 😊 Thank you for such great content and positivity!

High school teacher here. The more casual the other admin/teachers get the more I step it up. Sure, you can teach in anything, but the students pay attention… They don’t even realize they are treating me with more respect than the teachers in jeans, but they do. (Works on co-workers/admin too!)
Tip for wearing white pants: I usually pair them with a long beige cardigan that I can take off and on. Great layer when the AC gets too much and covers the spots that might get dirty!

I am a compliance consultant in the employee benefits industry. Normally I work from home, but have been to around 4-5 business conferences this year. I've had success with the blazer over the maxi dress look. It was super hot outside, but freezing in those hotel ballrooms. I took off the blazer and changed into sandals for the very casual mixer dinner at a BBQ joint. Worked well. So, that will be my go-to summer professional wear this year.

I'm an insurance agent. We've been working from home since March 2020. This week was a big anniversary for our company so everyone came into the office. I was so nervous...even though I've worked for this company for over 18 years. What to wear? I wore a wide leg beige linen pant and a white t-shirt. I felt so cute. Summery but not too casual. It was great to see everyone face-to-face again!

I work in technology. I'm a Business Systems/Programmer Analyst and work at a community college. When I started my career, I always dressed in a suite, slacks, blouses, dresses. Over the years, the work environment dress moved to more casual Friday everyday. I still wear an occasional suit, but really my go to attire is pants or jeans and a blazer - this is my uniform mostly. I love my blazers! They always finish my outfit and give me a more profession casual look in the office. I always have a blazer or professional looking jacket, so if I have an unexpected meeting and I'm wearing jeans, I can up my game and look more professional for my meeting. Love you video's Erin! Love your style and encouragement to have fun dressing as we age, and I'm a mature women who likes to look nice and dress sharp!
