Are you new to Cisco CLI? Do you find Cisco CLI confusing or intimidating?

If you do, you are in luck. In today's video, I address these questions in under 9 minutes. I explain the Cisco IOS CLI (Command Line Interface) structure at a high level. As a bonus, I also explain how to connect to your Cisco router or switch either physically or virtually to gain access to CLI.

This video is part of my Tech Nuggets series. The goal of tech nuggets is to cut to the chase & explain tech concepts in the form of small nuggets that you can consume right before walking into a customer meeting or a job interview.

Awesome. Started today with CLI in school (Network technician apprenticeship) Our teacher took nearly 3 hours to explain what you did in under 10 minutes.

Unfortunately, all the non-Cisco dual WAN routers, which I tried, transmit data through the failover WAN even when the primary WAN is available and operates stable (pings, analysis data, etc..). Would you know, please, if it is possible to configure the secondary Failover WAN so that no metered data ist transmitted while primary WAN runs stable?
