If Kooleen was my art teacher, I can say I was taught by the master

Never thought I would hear the phrase “juicy armpit” in an art tutorial but here we are

I still remember how my art teacher was like, here’s this and now draw… I love how we also get how Kooleen shares the basics of anatomy before jumping straight in. Very much in love

For shading: think of those triangles they drew for folds as pushed down, and everything between the triangles is pushed up. As a basic start, the triangles could all be colored in for super simple, basic shading. For a more nuanced look and following op's advice, go ahead and make those triangles more detailed (turn them into your folds). You would put the shade within that triangle in the corner/s that point towards the light source and/or wherever your folds pinch. This visually implies that it's a part of the fabric that is folding inward. Use a curved stroke while shading, or round your shadows out to imply object depth for whatever the fabric is on top of / fitting over. Hope that helps too!!

Kooleen knows my secrets. Kooleen knows that I always draw my sketches using a reference of some pose underneath. I'm not an artist. I'm a noob and I must act accordingly.
*KOOLEEN KNOWS!*

Everytime I see these really short tutorials of you I think "wow isn't this too short to explain something properly?" and everytime I think "nope she explained everything so good and there wasn't anything she didn't explain even in this short time" so thank you so mutch for these handy tutorials with focusing on the important things (like how to make the character look hot or how to make the lips really juicy 🤣 ) I always learn so mutch from you!!

Everything happens for a reason. In this case, Kooleen appeared to make our ocs hotter and more simpable 😌

When she said juicy armpit... I felt that.
Such inspiring words.

Jokes aside, I fricking love you. You're such a big help and you're really straight to the point! I love everything about your videos and I'm so happy that I never feel the need to skip anything.

This is the most un-condescending and engaging tutorial video on how to draw that I have ever seen. There are so many pompous artists out there who have no idea how to teach. Thank you.
