Google Drive missing files?

And then you have to worry about your own NAS wont get corrupted, damaged, etc., unless you can properly set it up in two separate location. (To defend it against House fires and such)

That's why I mirror and backup my files to my mini server

I have 1 ssd and a 2tb hdd (physical hard drive) that I back up important things to. A 750gb single enclosure device might be a hdd too. I use cloud storage as well.

Cloud storages always have secondary backup machines where your data gets copied into 2 different machines so that if one fails the other copy is retained. If you read more about the bigdata you will know that cloud storages are safer because locally we have single point of failure.

Cloud storage is very useful because I have my files all the time if I have internet access.
But my cloud is sync with a disk on my pc, and regularly I make a backup of my local disk to an usb drive.

Next you have a fire at home and lose your computer with all of its data. That's the problem.

In onedrive files also get stored on your computer if you are logged in

😂 those users had automatically cleaned up enabled y pay Google one since launch and never had any problems, is even faster than onedrive, amigo you just can't compete with a data center storage redundancy, on the cloud storage they are available every where if your NAS dies is over and on a home NAS the biggest is 10 disks and the price is 10x more expensive that a cloud 😅
