anyways artfight attack on razmerry. yeah. rainhaze slays and so does patfw go read it. also cameos of some of the patfw discord's defiancesonas! including my own haha. i literally speedran this in one day, and did most of the coloring and lineart in a car. apparently the way to get me to actually do stuff is sit me in a car for two hours. now if only i could be this fast with stuff for my own ocs. also i plan to do another pmv attack on someone hopefully, so i shall return with that eventually.

i love this song and wanted to animate it so bad, but had no fitting ocs for it. im so glad i thought of this

watching this amazing pmv after the two most recent is giving me a very specific vibe, lets just say.
(spoilers for patfw issue 31 below)














this pmv illustrates rainhaze's state of mind really well i think- how hes disconnected from his past, from who he used to be, and from what he is doing right now. i know this pmv was made before issue 31 was released, but i think it just makes it all the more painful(in a good way!!!) to revisit with our current knowledge. while watching, i could feel dread starting to rise, beacuse, irrationally, i expected to see asphodelpaws lifless body in the end. like i said, theres a very specific feeling i got while watching. the knowledge of the inevitable. i see rainhaze struggle and descend into becoming a tool of defiance, and i know how the story will end, but the ending of the animation is left open, and that means the tension that has been building up doesnt find release. it's the silence before the storm, when you want the thunder to rumble already, so it can be over- but it cant rain. not yet. im stuck in a moment before disaster, unable to move on or look away, stuck wanting to rip the bandaid off but aware its impossible.

anyway uhh idk if any of this makes sense. but THE POINT IS. this pmv is so cool and amazing and i love it so goddamn thank you for making it
