I use it whenever I have some gingivitis and it works great, but I was told by a dental hygienist that long term use of hydrogen peroxide can lead to a pH imbalance in your mouth, which could lead to unwanted consequences, i.e. cancer. From what I've learned since then, prolonged use of diluted, low concentrations (3% or less) of hydrogen peroxide as a mouth rinse is perfectly safe.

I tried hydrogen peroxide, and the bad breath I experienced for almost two decades just VANISHED! And it was just after the first application 😀.
I just dilute the brown bottle with two parts of water, and gargle with a little for about 30sec each morning. My breath remains fresh as that of a newborn child throughout the day. No one feels uncomfortable around me anymore. 🤝

A 3% Hydrogen Peroxide solution costs one dollar. Use equal parts water and Hydrogen Peroxide for a 1.5% solution and save your money.

I brushed my teeth, waited 10 minutes, then rinsed with hydrogen peroxide and I was surprised how little my mouth foamed up.
