This Tank Destroyer Is So Frustrating

War Thunder is absolutely chock-full of Soviet tank destroyers, with many of them being based on the ubiquitous T-34 medium tank. The Su-100 is no exception. Though its cannon is quite good, everything else about it leaves much to be desired.

You really have to play this tank, its the FV4202. A british medium tank that is very modern looking because it's actually an early protoype of the Chieftain. It has a 20pdr gun and its quite fun. (Day 50)

10:28 that is ASTONISHING. I remember as a french main looking at this thing and trying to figure out if I could artificially augment my survivability by angling. Looking at the penetration sim however, I found that the Sherman's 75mm could go clean through. Of all things, a jumbo could cleanly dispatch you, and I gave the idea up.

I actually really have to recommend the Su-85M. It’s a real hidden gem, it has an 85mm gun and the same armour as this thing at 5.0, where the armour actually works against most guns at that BR.

Sometimes you just get these days where you go cap a point, kill a couple of enemy, go looking for trouble and die. Respawn, click tab, see you are 1st place on your team and the rest are mostly dead. Only one other guy on your team has a kill. The enemy are at your spawn.
