Next-Generation Video Upscale Using SUPIR (4x Demonstration)

This is a short example of SUPIR, which is the latest in a whole new generation of AI image super resolution upscalers. While it’s currently designed to handle single image inputs, I’ve thrown together a short time series as an experiment.

This is incredible. I've been looking at Supir info all day and only found your channel because I was trying to find out if it's been used for video yet. Great work! The image is strikingly clear and it'd look even more so with motion stabilization. It's also much more temporally stable than I expected.

I checked out the rest of your channel to see if there's any informative videos about your workflow. There aren't, but holy crap you are hilarious. I'm shocked that you only have like 30 subs. Cart Racer 67 and The Warianos are my favs. And After Marge. I'm a fan.

It's not temporally stable and features flicker from frame to frame, as you mentioned. Good demo, though.
