I haven't played either game, but Stardom looks more interesting. While Dance Dash requires you to step on the notes coming down your feet, Stardom only requires you to match the rows of the bases, so you can move forward and backward freely. That gives the player more freedom and allows for more creative moves.
I wish the developers of Stardom would release a VR game. If possible, I'd like to see the Stardom arcade machine (including the monitor and base) fully implemented in my space. It would be nice if it supported both immersive and pass-through.
