My boyfriend surprised me this weekend for my birthday by inviting all my friends and took me to Dave and Busters.

What he didn’t calculate was that there was a DDR machine.

I haven’t played in 10+ years but instinct took over and I sat doing difficult -> extreme while friends rotated in and out on the second mat to talk to me.

I only took a few short breaks with kids saw me and wanted to try and gave up - those short breaks were filled with getting rubber duckies from the claw machine.

Needless to say my friends were confused returning to the machine every little while for more ducks to be there, my boyfriend was worried for my health, but by the grace of God, La Bamba and High Noon I kept going for over 3 hours.
