Super close call with an ambulance

Actually the ambulance should have used the siren to warn us. Emergency vehicles have an 7 times higher risk of being involved in an accident. I saw the ambulance approaching the intersection quite early.
So I pointed at it trying to steer the attention of the car behind me towards it, checked my mirror and made the “slow down” gesture while stopping to avoid getting rear ended.

Wow close call indeed! Perhaps the ambulance driver was communicating with the hospital and that's why the siren was off, but I think they should turn them on at intersections. Luckily the merc driver knew how to make a full emergency stop ;)

Etwas sehr ähnliches ist mir auch passiert (aber ich bin im Auto gefahren). Poliziei ohne Sirene über die Kreuzung, ich bleibe stehen und ein Typ fährt mir mit 30 auf. Ich verstehe das Verhalten der Einsatzkräfte in diesem Fall wirklich nicht, da müssten sie eigentlich Mitschuld haben.

Muss sagen, dass der Lenker des Rettungswagens zumindest das Horn hätte aufdrehen können. Der Hietzinger Kai ist eh so ein hektisches und vor allem belebtes Stück Straße :/ nicht ganz korrekt von ihm.

Ich hasse diese Kreuzung, nutze sie fast in jeder Richtung und wenn ich von der BP Tankstelle rausfahren will Richtung Obi lässt dich keiner raus so dass ich immer rechts Richtung Media Markt abbiegen muss und dann wenden.
