With it’s low price point, this recorder seems to be aimed at people who are new to playing the recorder, so I’m giving my thoughts as a beginner :)

That is incredible quality for such a low price, I'm amazed! My yamaha alto costs about 3 times that, and it doesn't behave as it should. That Thomann sounds great. But I wonder how it handles condensation. My Yamaha clogs really easily and is a bit of a pain for that, despite warming up the head joint before playing. Also you've only been playing for 6 months? 😮. I've been playing on and off since 2016 and I can't get that far in Doen Daphne

I bought the Yamaha Alto recorder at Thomann and I receive him yesterday.
After playing one or two minutes it became unplayable. Especially the low sounds.
Have you ever heard about similar cases.

can u say something about the transpositon between C recorders and F recorders? I am learning to play both Alto and Soprano recorders... i currently using Soprano fingerings to Alto recorders, still can play the music, but in different keys.

Can someone help me please? I've got the same reorder, but I'm only able to get one sound out, no matter how many holes I cover with my fingers, or how I blow in it. I'm not a musician, and I got the recorder as an amusement for my child, but I had tried other instruments in my life, and profane as I am, I could get different sounds out. Is my instrument defect, or is there a trick I'm missing? I would like to be able to show my child how to get different sounds out, in order to be able to play around with it.
