It's not necessarily the sound that changes, but it's more that the ability to play that changes. It gets so much easier to play the better quality the instrument.

Honestly, I’d go for the plastic one.
1. Because it sounds fine
2. Owning a plastic trombone is just funny

You can hear the subtle improvement of responsiveness in the articulation of the instrument. With the higher quality instruments able to produce clearer and more crisp sound 👌🏼

This test of price doesn't work because the vintage trombone isn't priced on quality but also age, and just cuz you bought the trombone for $5 doesn't mean it is actually worth that
