Thank you so much, there is so little info on the internet about this.

Hello Steve, You can use one power unit to power both strips of 300RGB. If you put the (2) reels of the RGB 2 connected to one power unit, you would experience some voltage drop, the end of the run would be realllly dim, and the colors would not look right. However, you can make put the RGB controller in the middle of the run and have one strip go to the right, and one to the left out of the remote. Make sense?

You can do this over and over again until you run out of power sockets to plug all those power supplies into it's got to be a better way and I haven't found it yet but I do have some ideas look everyone these LED lights you should just plug the main power supply in because that's what these adapters do spend all that money to have to plug it into the wall anyway just use the plug that comes with it and this string the lights next to each other in a straight row it's the exact same thing that's my complaint anyway it's got to be a better way

If your putting a power supply at the star of each led strip why are you using an amp? Is it not like the first strip you just powered

Can you supply the amplifier(s) with the same power supply you start with instead of having to use a separate power supply for each amplifier?

How if instead of series circuit like in your video, use one big amps 12v power supply and put them in parallel? In parallel circuit, do we still need amplifier for each strip even though the power supply has big amps?

So if I want to connect over 100ft of strips into one continuous line, how would I avoid voltage drop? I have three transformers and am trying to have it so there's no jumps with cables. I'm going to solder the strips. I have 3 300 watt transformers

Both amplifiers are the same, the difference is in the size and conenctions. You can use the mini amplifiers every 5 meters (for 300 LED strips) and for every 10 meters (for 150 LED strips). Each amplifier needs to be powered also.

thanks alot ur helped me alot i just have question please is there a way to know what is the maximum distance where the voltage drop and leds stop glowing like they suposed to be (analog led strips)

if anyone can help me i would appreciate it. I am trying to put lights under the stairs on front of the house. I have three steps, the bottom 2 stairs are 10 ft, the 3rd is to the patio runs 22 ft 5 in. I saw that I can get 32.8 ft of strip to one power supply. can I get a splitter to have all three runs go into the one power supply without any loss of power or not same brightness of light? Total i am trying to run about 45 feet of leds can I have to go to one 12v power supply?

Great job..i have a question will the mini led amplifier work the same effect or this one is better..i really need your opinion

You can use a larger power supply and run 12v to the amplifier from it. I would locate the power unit centrally and run the appropriate wire gauge to the amplifiers.

Yes you can, but you should run it somewhere else through the 12v system in the car, When you start the car, the 12v sometimes can jump up to a lot more than 12v, and damage the remote. If you put a voltage regulator between the power and the controller it should work.

Hello man i want to ask you some question. 1) how many max load of led strip pcb? 2) in 10 meter led strip without amplifier (with one power supply) its better to connect in series or parallel? 3) how much meter can run led strip in series without amplifier ? 4)If i have 20 meter led stip (example 1A/meter) and 4 power supply 5A each one, and 3 amplifie. The controller output must be 5A or 20A ? Thank you!!

Notice the ripple between color changes? How do you prevent that? I find it interferes with my security cameras

And whats the diffrence between the mini rgb amplifier and this one in the video ?

depends on the length. The reel uses 6 amps @ 12v

I am adding rgb tape light in my kitchen I am going to need a power supply on one end to run a 8 ft strip but then from the end of that strip it is about 20 ft to the next strip.  Will just a amplifier at then end of the 8ft run work to power the next run or do I need to run parallel which would then be about 30 ft from controller to beginning of the strip
