Have you thought about using govees neon rope strip? Or you could even use the gaming strip that lays down flatter they advertise for the front trim of a desk. Would save yourself the diffuser process I would imagine unless there is something to it. However, I will go the same route when I do this unless their coming soon matter releases are out in the near future. I love apples HomeKit ecosystem ever since I switched from Alexa and having a dashboard to control everything from an iPad I mounted on the wall

Nice tutorial!
Regarding the 45 cuts. I have the same Ryobi mitre saw. If you set it to 45, partly lock it, and give it a slight nudge then lock.
Ideally you should have 44.5 degrees. The (combined) 1 degree is covered by the joint. In worst case scenario, if you do get to much light bleed, you could always solder it from the inside. Just melt some tin and let it run into the opening.

Chris, can you please make a Govee M1 strip to WLED controller setup? Or suggest a light strip that has 24v and RGBW that's compatible with the WLED controller?

Hello, I have a question, how do you connect the last piece of led strip to the plug? if that piece of led strip ends without connection, since it is cut

You should really preface that you purchased 3 of these for 3 controllers to achieve this look. Most people would think you could do this with one controller

Whats the advantage using Govee vs doing a ESP8266 chip and getting lighting from BTF-Lighting. Is this your preferred setup? If so / if not, why. Cheaper? Easier? I need to add some more, currently all mine are ESP8266 and BTF lighting.

I'm a bit confused here. Let say when you buy the strip. You get one controller? How did you get extra controller? Can you share link you buy it.? You can just cut any led light strip then reattach to another Controller so then it work again?

How come you didn't have to solder anything in this video? Is every separate strip (all 3 of them) connected to a power outlet at the very right? It seems to go against your "Govee M1 cutting / reconnecting" video.

I noticed the color was different with the white towards the very end, why? You use Govee M1 for the entire thing, no? Thanks!
