Camry vs Sonata!

Today I compare a 2025 Toyota Camry to a 2024 Hyundai Sonata!

I dont know why everyone is hating on Hyundai's reliability. I knew a guy who owned a Sonata and it lasted him well over 10 miles!

I owned a 2013 sonata from 2019 to 2023, only had to do minor maintenance. Bought it for 6, 500 sold it for 5000. Still rocking Florida roads to this day.

Driving Camry 2011 le daily. It's 215k miles without any issue. Only did oil change. And done filter change and twice changed the tires. First brakes rotars changed in 2018, second in 2022. Camry lasts guys. Though I'll agree it is nothing close to modern.

The only way I'll buy a Hyundai/Kia is if it says "MadeInKorea" when you open the door. Otherwise, Camry for the win.

I recently traded my 2011 Sonata with 234k miles on the dash. They are decent vehicles if well taken care of.

We have had a Sonata Hybrid since 2021 and it has been great so far.

I would probably buy the Camry. But Im really liking the update to the Sonota. But the Koreans have a shaddy reliability record and well known difficulties with their dealers.

You can never compare a Hyundai or Kia to a Toyota. Toyota is king.

We have the Toyota Camry 2025 XSE hybrid front wheel drive and is amazing. The beautiful leather seats, tech, climate control, EV mode, quietness, smoothness, sunroof that fully opens up and closes with a nice fabric sheet, and the beautiful app integration.

What most people don’t seem to understand in these comments, and even in general is that if you take care of your car and don’t dog on it, any car, including a hyundai, will last just as long as any toyota.

You guys need to know that Hyundai has evolved from those oil leaking gdi engines from 2017. I’ve had a 2022 Hyundai sonata with 167k miles on it and not a single engine problem, it was a really good car😄

I used to drive New EF Hyundai Sonata for more than 20 years. There was no quality issue except replacing oil or parts.
Hyundai Sonata is safe and reliable car.
