I love that Bradford didn't even double check what it was about. He knew exactly what the issue was and immediately had West's back.

“And yet the water is still above my head” I felt chills all over when West said this in response to “You stand on our shoulders”. This is powerful yet so painful. I am where I am today because of the sacrifices that were made by the ones before me. And yet I still need to fight for every single step I take forward.

Everyone can agree... Bradford would shatter Stanton in a heartbeat.

Jackson speaking truth to Grey was such a satisfying argument. “And yet the water is still above my head. So tell me sir, what were all your sacrifices for”. Damn that hit me hard.

I love how Bradford backs up West every second after this. He went from hating West to respecting him and having his back.

2:15 is the most important line in this scene. Good cops know who the bad cops are. They cover for the bad cops or turn a blind eye to what's going on, which in turn, makes good cops bad cops as well. Culture is the most powerful element in any social system and the culture inside policing is the biggest problem. You can not legislate culture away and no code of conduct can properly influence it. It is protected by the highest ranking officer down to officers on patrol. Until this is truly understood there is no fixing policing.

I like how Tim came in and said he will back up Jackson. He too has had enough of Superman's Crap..

Two thumbs up to the writing and Titus Makin(Jackson West) performance in this scene, it was awesome watching him challenge the Blue Wall of Silence, and I also liked it when Bradford steps in to support him.

I got goosebumps when he said the waters still above my head.
But I for a second felt that he should just take the win of his TO getting benched. But then I thought, its actually quite strong of him to not back down because it really isn’t enough.

The argument here between Jackson West and Sargent Wade Grey reminds me of Kevin Atwater and Sargent Hank Voight on Chicago PD Season 8 episode 1.
