P.S: when you connect the power Wire as shown on video “ 6:30 “ ,be advised that the striped black wire (+) can be in different colors at other Model S due to production date .. always connect the white wire (+) to the stripped black or plain/striped colored wire .

Addtionnal coment: I finally managed to install the dragon tail successfully. Unfortunately the unit I received had a small issue with the earth connection but the engineer immediately contact me and in matter of an hour with his guidance, I managed to rectify the issue. I have to say connecting the cables to the tail lights on right and left was a bit challenging for me as my hands could not go in to the holes shown in the video, so I needed to remove the trunk cover from inside to get access to the side lights. Otherwise the rest of the installation was smooth. One advice is that when trying to remove both left and right side of the applique, it is better to use a hair dryer to melt the glue and then use a dental fluss to cut the glue otherwise it can be difficult to remove the original applique. I am going install mine shortly. Hopefully no hiccups. By the way a great presentation. Amazing that you managed to the job with long and manicured nails and your hands won’t get dirty during the installation. My only advice is that next time you are doing such video instructions, please do on a holiday or ask others to stop working at the garage. Too much background noise! Congratulations anyway
