Finally someone answered my question about do you WB after the whole set is lit, or just WB off the key light. I’ve been looking for that answer for days! Thank you!

One of those aha moments for me. I am a hobbyist who started pre-digital. I currently shoot raw with a pretty flat profile and use custom presets in camera to produce jpegs from my best images. Only a few test pics in and this has simplified my process enormously and I'm getting far better results. I am shooting everything at 5600k and tweaking up or down at most by 200 for the final jpeg. 'film stocks were almost all daylight balanced' ...hit me in the face why don't you 😂. Thx ❤

Great video! Thank you. The video that seems hard to find is adjusting the WB when using a ND filter.

What if there's a scene where you have to travel a fair distance through 3 rooms? How do you get good white balance for that?

0:37 ok so why is the tungsten setting causing the image to look red when it’s daylight? Doesn’t setting the cameras color temperature to 3200K tungsten make daylight appear more blue?

When you change white balance between one shot and another, do you use the preset like warm day, cloudy ecc, or you just adjust the kelvin number? Thank you it was helpful
