The longest day. My Uncle Richard jumped into the hedgerows of France the day before. He never spoke of his heroism. Silver Star Bronze Star Purple Heart. He is buried in Arlington with his wife Carol.

D-Day is the frist major battle I studied and still to do this. I made a lot of diorama and presented at school. I even made eisenhower diorama. Thanks for sharing this Hank.

Great clips and best music ;) MOH. But sad to see the spitfire doing the low pass at the start. It was this one or the one flying behind that got hit and destroyed (Pilot killed) by rockets fired from the ships (Barges) onto the beach sites.
