First Starship test launch was booster 4 and Starship 20. Now they are on Booster 9 and Starship 25. They keep making them and I love their pace. Keep building them and perfect the process as you go. What an amazing company.

Correction: the Saturn Causeway needs to be widen not because Starship is wider. Saturn V and the Space Shuttle were much wider than Starship; however they were transported by a tracked crawler that used both sides of the Causeway. That system was one-of-a-kind, too expensive to rebuild and maintain. SpaceX uses multi-wheeled SPMT (self propelled modular transporters), which are commercially available; however, they use only one side of the Causeway.

it doesnt matter how much pressure these habitats can hold within reason. Im curious how well it handle heat and cold in cycles.

Beam was not only one inflatable hub in space there was Genesis 1 and Genesis 2 from Bigalow. Both unmanned.

A space to space version of Starship is what is needed.

The Fuel Depot Starship will need a lot of extra stuff, like sun shields and pump hardware. Getting the fuel up there is one thing. Pumping it in zero G into the tanker, and then keeping the cryogenic propellants from boiling away or freezing solid is another. It is rather daunting when you think about the details.
Almost anything seems simple when you don't think about the details. But nature is all about the details.
Nature is the single most important factor when translating "Elon time" into real life time. I think the NASA oversight board is coming to the realization that even though SpaceX is moving fast and building and testing hardware, it is tackling very difficult and untested technologies. That might have been the deciding factor in pushing for a second competitor for the HLS. Sometimes, Elon Musk reminds me of Howard Hughes. Let's just hope that Starship HLS does not turn into Elon's Spruce Goose.

Beam was not the only inflatable module to be tested in space, Bigelow did several free-floating tests in space before that

One might say they'd prefer metal armor over fabric, but when the options are an aluminum can or a kevlar vest...

My friend just had a realisation. To quote his excavation words: “Y’know how SpaceX has Starship, Starhopper and Starbase and the stuff that starts with “Star” what if they made space toilets for a station called “Starshit”

Seem the delay is by design to allow the "blue competition" to catch up and be the 1st to fly ("historic importance")

Thank you for not playing obnoxious dramatic LOUD music in your videos... We can actually understand your dialogue... Thank you! 😀

Great video, Spacex is doing good work in spite of Elon. I do disagree woth the idea that environmental surveys are simply a hoop yo jump through for hard working businesses. If they arnt held to standard companies follow the path of least resistance when it comes to safety standards.

3:32 Interesting how SpaceX has that timeline to follow considering that I have yet to hear any new development on the Lunar Gateway.

9:24 BEAM is still on ISS -- it's attached to Tranquility, and used for storage. it isn't scheduled to be removed until 2028.

I dont think they'll scrap a whole starship tanker in refueling. I think 26 might be to stay in orbit indefinitely for testing till they're done.

5:26 what does the editor mean “what about it”

do ur research SN26 is the same tank size as the other ships just striped down of unnessasary parts for re-entry not a refueling depo and has no parts for refuelling.

Did Sierra Space acquire Bigelow's IP when they closed during COVID? I could have sworn Bigelow was the first company to design a 330m^3 expandable structure.
