They announced the Mega Rayquaza raid event on August 3. But they apologized for the Bad Elite Raid only on end of June.

It was my first time doing a raid event like that, was weird to have to caravan (I didn't know, so I didn't caravan, just did the only 2 out of 6 raid gyms and went home).
The cynic in me gueses that they didn't make as much money as they would've wanted without all the remote pass money coming in--but with how crowded the nearby park was on that day, it seemed successful enough, and the energy felt like 2016 when everyone was out and excited (pokemon go fest 2024 wasn't nearly as crowded, but still very much fun).
Excited to see if saturday has a much density, but will be fun either way.

Mega rayquaza will be spawing every 30 minutes. 25 minute raid timer with 5 minute cooldown

I have a question.
I have an extra super rocket raidar so should I use it on groudon because he is strong in the shadow form. Or get creselia. I was saving the raidar for S. Rayquaza. Please help me

Amazing video it's very helpful. Removing frustration from my shadow pokemon is going to be very very helpful I've already done it for my Moltres and Salamance but haven't done it for my Feraligater or Skaromory and hopefully I get the shadow shiny Trapinch from Sierra before the event so I can actually have a shiny Flygon without Frustration. I am very much looking forward to seeing what's new for the team leaders though!
