Love it just made with the family. My younger son who is 8 we have been home for the past 4 months for Chemotherapy and Radiation and he has learned to love food more. If you add a little rice flour into the flour it'll turn out even more crispy.

I don't eat seafood and am allergic to lemon so just did it with parsley and it was AMAZING!! Didn't have any harissa or mayonnaise either so used salad cream and some baked bean juice.

I didn't see ingredients listed anywhere but just in case:
(1 Ninja knife)
1 squid
1/2 kilo flour
Large handful fennel seeds
Large handful oregano
Heaped teaspoon salt
Heaped teaspoon ground white pepper
(Large unwaxed lemon for slicing)
Parsley
Clove of garlic
2 heaped tablespoons mayonnaise
1 teaspoon harissa (plus a bit extra for serving)
Juice of half a lemon
Salt
(Lemon zest)
Sunflower/vegetable oil
Rose water
(Potato thermometer)

Optional extra:
Ridiculous enthusiasm

Amazing recipe, tried it yesterday, it was a blast! I just poured the squid in milk before coating with flour, and I got a superb crust! Would definitely recommend the recipe, done in Under 30 min.

Growing up on Jamie i fell in love, not only the way hes doing so many different things or how wonderful they become..but how he can make a food -i hate- so tasteful and seductive i go cravin for it =D ...
