Alright quick tip, if you’re ever using this seated dip machine, make sure to lower the height of the sea t so that you can actually get a full stretch at the top to ensure that you undergo a full range of motion.

Full range of motion especially with something like a dip will vary a lot person to person. You can't just simply say to lower the seat way down when some peoples shoulders can't handle that angle myself included. I get a heck of a burn using this machine with about a 3/4 range because shoulder injuries don't allow me to get to a 90° position and that's perfectly fine. You should be telling people to work with their own full range of motion or to use another exercise if this one can't be performed at all.

Hey everyone. This is a dangerous machine if you go heavy. It is too concentrated on pec minor ( I tore mine doing it). You're probably better of just doing regular (assisted) dips where your muscles are more naturally engaged.

Dont go too far down if you dont have great shoulder mobility, it will hard your shoulder over time.
Try not to streach your shoulder too much

seated dips are way too easy maxed out for me tbh, yet I can only do 12-15 bodyweight dips haha.

a seated dip is like the hack squat of dips. i personally prefer regular dips, as i get a great contraction in my triceps, but still am getting the core and stability benefits the sitting down will negate. i also have a belt which i can chain plates to to progressive overload where once i can do 15 reps with a new weight, i go up ten pounds, and the. get back up to 15.

I use this machine all the time, I thought it was a tricep machine didn’t even relate it to dips.
