For people who keep asking about Ashers Early death this was the reason : An individual close to production confirmed to TheWrap that Galvin was indeed interested in pursuing other opportunities, which prompted the writers to craft an earlier exit for Asher. The character was first introduced in Season 4 in a recurring role before being promoted to series regular for Season 5.

I have Asperger's and understand why it is hard for Shaun to get along with Charlie. It is a misconception that autistic people always get along with other autistic people. As autistic people, we often get frustrated when things don't go smoothly becaue the world is already so overwhelming. So, imagine being an attending trying to help a resident and she interrupts constantly, always rearranging things, like the storage room in the first episode, then the surgical equipment in the last episode. As a neurotypical person, it is annoying, but as a neuroatypical person, it is unbearable. I had anxiety just watching these episodes. 😂

i know i do this a lot. comparing Shaun and Sheldon in these clips but another parallel i noticed is when Sheldon was going on and on about if he should get a PS4 or Xbox and he was on date night with Amy. As Sheldon was about to leave Amy's place while most likely hyperfocusing on the game console thing she said "its date night arnt you forgetting something?" here Lea also was asking if Shaun was forgetting something important despite his hyperfixation too. both are reminded that their loved ones are more important than the everyday things that bother them.

Man Shawn pisses me off when it comes to Charlie. He of all people should know what it’s like being thought of as less as a doctor because of his disability. Instead he’s acting like doctor han did to him.

I cannot wait for next weeks episode and he has his full blown meltdown as shown in the previews, serves him right. Charlie deserves better.
