I love how simple yet elegant this show is! This isn't your regular kdrama with love triangles, stressful or jealous antagonists, instead it's a story of two beautiful people falling in love and the experience of dating life, getting separated and then falling in love all over again. I love how the show is like an interview format where all the characters are introduced and we get to see their perspectives regarding love life.

I was annoyed at the interview format at first, mostly because I wasn’t used to it, but later I started finding it funny. Adds the humor aspect to the show and the concept and storyline is quite refreshing and very realistic. No childhood friendship, fantasy or past lives, or love triangle. Just relationship between two mature adults, who have their own flaws and differences in perspective and social class. It subtly delves into a lot of issues of modern love and people and even the dynamics of rich and poor. Makes us wonder about how much do we really know about our partner vs how much of it is fed by our delusions. How people behave when they are newly in love vs over time…Every scene and every character has a purpose, nothing wasted. It is indeed a must watch. Give it a go with an open mind, you may start liking the interview format too. This show is not the first one to do that either, modern family, what we do in the shadows are some of my fav shows with interview format and I found them awkward too in the beginning, but it was just because the format was new to me.
