HVAC commercial rooftop package air flow restriction #CommercialHVAC #YORK #hvacservice

Today I was working on a commercial rooftop package unit made by York and I had a huge air flow issue caused by a malfunctioning damper in the supply Plenum.

To fix the problem I simply order a new damper and install the new damper inside of the supply plan I'm duct-work for now I temporarily manually open the damper to allow the air flow to pass through the duct-work.

Where do you check the best location to take temp readings from package units for superheat and subcool and also how super heat and subcool works on them cause I know carrier doesn't use TXV one some package units it just multiple piston pipes go into evap.
