Are You Wearing the Right Socks With Your Work Boots?

Lets have a conversation about why the 6 pack of Fruit of the Loom socks from Walmart might not be the right sock to be wearing all day long.

Go a casual day (wouldn’t suggest doing it on a work day) in regular natural breathable shoes (Holes all by the toes) without socks to find out how much your feet really sweat.

Great advice. Got waterproof motorcycle boots. My feet are damp with cotton socks. I´ll buy are pair of moisture-transporting socks (as they are called in Europe)

Moisture wicking just means they have polyester or polypropylene in them. Invest in merino wool, not plastic socks.

Covert threads socks made for the military by retired military people they are the best socks I’ve ever owned and there made in the USA and they last, i went through 60 pairs of socks before I found the best.

I work on the rail yard waterproof boots. My feet hurt and sweat. A friend suggested bamboo socks? Thoughts?

One can have waterproof or breathable boots, but not both. Sadly most non-waterproof boots I've been around don't breath either.

Boots have tight spots at toe, ankle.. the boots are real tight at shin to lower ankle and people need moletape skin and thick socks
