I made this again and I love this formulation. It comes together very quickly and is easy to press into mould. My SLSa is a bit more grainy so used some extra strach. I could have grinded it, too. My shampoo bars (including this) are often preserved with cosgard & phenoxyethanol & ethylxexylglycerine. I used new-to-me fragance, frangibani EO, which I adore! ❤

I am a newbie.I LOVE this shampoo bar and the #2conditioner. The less ingredients, the better I like it and it seems to be helping my scalp issues. I love in Mississippi so I knew from the beginning it will take longer for my bars to cure. Just one question: Is the bar supposed to be grainy? If it is, then I'm doing it correctly. If not, more oil? or better mixing? Thanks! (My whole family loves the body butter!)

I made and it turned out beautiful with lots of lather .I add Liquid Germall plus instead if optiphen, hope thats ok .Can i add Neem powder or other Botanicals instead of rice powder .. Get the core (non grocery store) ingredients for $23.52CAD (~$17.77USD) + add on any dyes, fragrances, or moulds you want (they're optional). You'll need to grab the rice flour + distilled water at the grocery store, and you should be able to make 400g of shampoo bars for ~$20USD 😄 (one Lush shampoo bar is $15USD and weighs ~54g, so you can make over 7 Lush-sized shampoo bars for slightly more than the price of one!)
