Report: Over 9,600 Palestinians are detained in Israeli prisons

The Palestinian Prisoner's Society reports that over 9,600 Palestinians from the West Bank and East Jerusalem are held in Israeli jails.

According to the Palestinian rights group Addameer Prisoner Support and Human Rights Association, 3,380 are administrative detainees.

Many Palestinian prisoners have been held in Israeli prisons for more than three decades, with some arrested before the Oslo Accords were signed in 1993.
