I’m sure everyone who rents one of these things is going to be delighted. Never ever buy one new at full retail unless you are certifiably insane though.

When is Hyundai/Infinity going to come out with an update for the radio in The 2018 Hyundai Sonata Limited 2.0T? I bought one at the end of last year, and the TREBLE control doesn't work on the radio! The slider goes from -10 to +10, but there is no change in the high frequency sound, like there should be! And it isn't just my car, it is in every 2018 Sonata Limited 2.0T! I check them at a dealer, and the cars that I tried the radios in, the treble control didn't work either. So when is Infinity going to come out with an update for the radio? They have horrible quality control! The BASS and MIDRANGE controls work, even though I would prefer to have the midrange frequency higher, say 3kHz. It is too low in frequency to do any good in improving the sound. Where is the update for the radio?

The body of the current model is so tedious that the face-lifted version, although it may be a lot more appealing and aggressive in sketches, appear to be really odd to the eyes. Something does not seem to have proportioned properly on the front-end, I feel like the designers and engineers of this model kept having conflicts and failed to land on each other's ideal values, even right before the release date. I guess this Sonata will still find consumers that like it, but on a bigger side, it would be a huge challenge for this model to compete against the all-new Accord and Camry this year and next year. I hope the all-new model in maybe 2 years will look a lot nicer than this, with all the star designers Hyundai managed to recruit
