OG Makarov's voice still sends chills down my spine, new makarov doesn't feel like that

OG MW2 voice-lines are deep af. You can tell they put effort into the game

Both voices for general shepherd are actually phenomenal. Glenn's bodice gives that sort of military general vibe to him thought. The og actor just gives him a villainous anti hero vibe

Fun fact: Glenn morshower played overlord in the OG modern warfare 2. So he is the only actor that is from original trilogy in the rebooted series.

Roman played Makarov so gently, and that’s the key to the intimidation factor. The villain speaking softly sends chills up your spine. Julian was a bit too “aggressive, ” though he had the gentle moments as well. He would raise his voice too often, which disrupts the calm flow that is supposed to be Makarov.

Only positive upgrade I would say is the Ghost voice upgrade because Sam Rourkin did such an amazing job bringing so much depth to Ghost. For Price, I would say both are equally amazing. The rest, the OG ones win, specially OG Makarov wins by a landslide.

OG MW3 soaps death was so real and made you feel the sadness of losing him.

MW23 was a slap in the face.

Lance Henriksen sounds so threatening he was prefect for that role.

I absolutely love both of Soaps VAs, Neil did a damn good job and put so much heart into it. Honestly, I like both the old and new ones.

Barry Sloane and Samuel Roukin's voices is really killer!

Both actors for Price are great, and Barry Sloane was just perfect casting

The original Makarov sounds like a terrifying presence with quite a few mental problems, enough to cause a third world war.

The other guy sounds and looks like a villain of a Fast and Furious movie.

I never really cared about the reboot characters. It didn't feel the same.

My favorite is Kevin McKidd, such an underrated actor. Great voice and he was awesome in Dog Soldiers.

Also, OG Makarov is still one of the best villains in CoD. I love his voice lines in MW3 MP as the faction Inner Circle. "S Nami bog"... Sends chills!

new voices just sound so linear to me. The old ones has much more volume and you can tell by the voices how deep the background of the different characters is, especially Shepard for example. That's why I love the old voices of MW3, deeper and much more penetrating.

I've been saying it since the reboot, the worst decision they made was changing Price's VA.
Absolutely iconic voice, sounded like you would expect a seasoned SAS operator to sound, not hammed up to the nines for the sake of being more action movie-esque.
I feel like they did the same with Soap and, to a degree, Ghost as well. Although you can definitely make more of a case for Ghost, being that he is just getting more screen time this time around.

In OG Yuri's voice actor is not Brian but it is actually TONY CURRAN !!!!
