Problem is there’s no carryover from game to game: they fumbled Zakhaev, fumbled killing Shepherd & now are suddenly introducing Makarov. Part of what made the payoff cool in the OG was seeing how he was behind the Nuke in CoD4 & all the ties he had to MW2/3. Here they took the quickest route & are relying on nostalgia vs. building a proper trilogy. I mean what even happened to Farah’s bro?

I kinda hope we get side missions where we play as Russian PMC's to help breakout Makarov from the Gulag. Or to actually play as Makarov during No Russian remake mission

Why can't they just release a modern warfare 3 remastered campaign. The original modern warfare 3 was amazing in my opinion and i thought it was a great closure to a trilogy.

I like this new makarov in terms of voice and face, however the original voice and face is superior imo. As for character itself, we will see

I remember a time where there was a trailer for a campaign, not just a reveal trailer for a character in that campaign. It’s really sad how it’s come down to nostalgia baiting to excite the fans rather than delivering something new and exciting
