When CoD ghost came out my dad told me we couldn’t afford it. One day he brought me Braums after work(he worked 12 hr days, everyday) and when I opened it to eat, CoD ghost was inside.. I’ll never forget that moment. Ever

I remember the release day for black ops 2. My dad promised me for months we would get it the night it came out. The day comes and he says sorry we cant go to the midnight release and get it. Im sorry son. And i was very sad so sad. (I was 11) the next day i come home from school and im getting on xbox seeing all my friends list on bo2 and as im about to load up bo1 he says here son and throws me a brand new copy of bo2 in the crisp plastic. I was so so so happy i wanted to cry. Turns out after i fell asleep he went to gamestop and stood outside in the cold for hours to get me my midnight release copy. I love my dad alot

Wow... Ill never forget when my father got me Far Cry 3 when it first came out. He couldn't afford it at first, but two months later, he picked me up from school and told me to get in the back. When i got back there, there was a bag that he told me to open. Inside was a 20 dollar bill and Far Cry 3 for the 360. Ill never forget that moment, because i got beat up at school that same day. He passed away a week later in a car accident. I still have that copy, and always play it on the day he got it for me. Fly high, dad. 🕊️

We yearned for this. And my brothers with these types of fathers, appreciate what you have been gifted with. Peace and blessings

Remind me of when i was 10. I showed him my grades when i got my school report cards. He took me and my brothers to Walmart and at the checkout the total was over $200 something for a ps2 and I'll never forget this, my dad's face was red and he looked worrying and it saddened me when i looked up at him but he bought it. We are poor, he had no education, work in fabric factory with leg problems. He past away in 2015. This bring tears to my eyes. Now I'm a dad. Love 💕 to all dads.

My father raised my younger brother and I alone. he fought in court for 100% custody of us. He spent every dime he had in court, so we grew up pretty poor yet he would find a way to get us to COD midnight releases at GameStop and purchase the game for us. We had no internet but my brother and I would play countless hours on campaign and local matches/zombies together.
My father is still alive and he and I purchased our first house together a year ago next month. All three of us are successful and prospering. There’s no telling where we would be if he didn’t sacrifice everything he had to raise my brother and I alone. He’s my bestfriend

I remember my grandad was a big gamer back in the early days, he loves that it kept his mind active and made him feel young... He was in the army and saw a few conflicts... He really enjoyed medal of honour, battlefield and the early call of dutys.... I remember he told me once to go to the shed to get a spanner.... I opened the toolbox and there was 2 copy's of call of duty 4, we played every day until he passed away towards the end of the life cycle back in 2007... I was gutted for obvious reasons, but i just knew that he would of loved to play call of duty world at war and he never got the chance, i will never forget all those memories playing split screen with him and playing the campaigns of those great first person shooters.. but Cod 4... Damn i will never ever forget that game, that was ours and I'll never forget the line
"On your feet soilder.. we are leaving"
That was the last thing he ever said to me, its going to sound weird to some people but captain price will always be my grandad
