People dont understand how op igris is at full power. The ice monarch took a look at bkth igris and beru after they became marshal ranks and said he saw igris as more of a threat to him. Igris isnt a ruler but he inherited the rulers authority. An ability that only the rulers can use. He is the only person in the series that isnt a ruler that can use that ability.

He didn’t IMMEDIATELY get a power up. Jin woo literally said he was weaker than he was alive. He only became stronger during the final levels of the demon castle and he didn’t technically become stronger, his powers were sealed by ashborn and as he was leveling up his powers were slowly being unlocked again
