Shiksha Saptah 2024 : Day 2 - FLN Day

Shiksha Saptah : DAY 2 - TUESDAY, July 23, 2024
In alignment with the Shiksha Saptah mission, Mount Carmel Central School, Mangaluru celebrated Day 2 - FLN Day on 23rd July, 2024 in the school campus. The event was to generate a greater awareness for successful implementation of NIPUN/FLN Mission.
It was made possible with the involvement and contribution of 900 students and 30 teachers of Kindergarten to grade 12.
The students actively took part in several activities that focused on Foundational Literacy and Numeracy skills. The following are the illustrations of the activities of Day 2 : Chart Making – Food and Vegetables, Puzzles and Challenge Cards, Role play, Origami and Story cards. Interactive learning sessions were also conducted through popular group games - Bingo, which encouraged students to take part in the learning process enthusiastically. Awareness on FLN skills was given to Nursery children through fun and learn activities.
A workshop was conducted to include educators who shared best practices to foster a collaborative approach to achieving FLN goals.
A video of the FLN was uploaded on the school's YouTube channel to share the event's highlights and bring about more awareness among its stake holders.
