“Siren” takes us inside Bristol Cove—a coastal town known for its legend of once being home to mermaids. When the arrival of a mysterious girl proves this folklore all too true, the battle between man and sea takes a very vicious turn as these predatory beings return to reclaim their right to the ocean. The series stars Alex Roe (“The 5th Wave”) as Ben, a bright marine biologist who finds himself drawn to a mysterious new girl in town, Ryn, played by Eline Powell (“Game of Thrones”), who is a strange young woman with a deep dark secret. Fola Evans-Akingbola (“An American Exorcism”) stars as Maddie, also a marine biologist who works with Ben, and is highly suspicious of Ryn. Ian Verdun (“Life’s a Drag”) stars as Xander, a deep sea fisherman on a quest to uncover the truth; and Rena Owen (“Star Wars” Episodes II and III) as Helen, the town eccentric who seems to know more about the mermaids than she lets on. Based on a story by Eric Wald and Dean White who both serve as executive produces. Emily Whitesell (“Finding Carter”) is on board as Showrunner and Executive Producer. Brad Luff, Nate Hopper and RD Robb are also attached as executive producers.

When the mermaids approached did anyone get a twilight Breaking dawn vibe.

Robb’s tribe look so bad ass! I hope he comes back in S4 and becomes a regular. Hopefully they’ll find a way for him to transform again because I so wanna see his mermaid form, and the writers need to build his and Maddie’s relationship more because their chemistry is ❤️.

I'm completely in love with arctic mermaids! I've always loved the idea of cold and frozen waters mermaids, and now Siren is finally making it real! I can't wait to see more of them and their mermaid form, and i would kill for a spin off

Aww I miss Yura as a female already! I just liked her appearance. Powerful and intimidating. Male or female, I'm sure the character is still the same. Can't wait to see male Yura in action

Can you imagine how awkward it would be if the Arctic sirens slipped on the ice while making their grand entrance?
They're just approaching the protagonists looking all mystical and shit and then one of them just slips on their bum.

The fact that they can transfer to females to male's is amazing

so how many times can an arctic mermaid go from ocean to land until the transformation starts getting distrupted and they can no longer transform? Robb said he's been on land for 15 years but Yura said "he betrayed us when he left" which means he started having transformation issues earlier, probably 6 to 10 years after being on land. I also believe the only times Robb went in the water was when he started degrading but he didnt actually spend more time in the water which is probably why he cant transform anymore. if Ryn spends more time in her mermaid form she might not have this problem.

Yura is like Tia, intimidating and strong, but Yura is good. Its kinda sad that I wont get to see her fight Tia in her female form, cos Yura and Tia, two strong imposing intimidating leaders fight, thatll be awesome.
But Yura in his male form is also nice, hes hot lol, they chose the right actor :)

I’m upset cause katrina joined tia’s tribe and died. Because she had their blood I think she should’ve not have because ryn’s tribe raised her when she was lost alone and scared.

I think they should have continued the series. Even if the ratings weren't that high. The series was very good and really nice. Different from others. It has real potential and they just canceled the series. I don't think that's right. And I'm sure a lot of fans see it that way.

I am confused. Robb said that after a few years of being on land it took longer to transform and then he couldn’t at all. But Tia has been on land for 10 years and hasn’t taken any longer to transform
