Ive been into comics for over 10 years ans never undeestood what an inker was holy hell

So happy for you guys, i live in Kenya and have always wanted to do inking jobs, but i always get shot down as not being a real artist coz i prefer to do inking over penciling. i've even had people tell me inking is not a real skill.

Is an inker a colorist? Is a colorist someone who fills in the big spaces while an inker makes the pencil drawings more bold?

Is it just me or does Akins come off sounding full of himself? I'm curious if anyone else gets that vibe or if it's just my perception.
