Errors in play:
9:44 - Water should gain 1 wisdom for building the monolith
10:28 - When placing your first follower, it must be placed on an unoccupied ISLAND, not a mountain as I did here.
11:29 - I took ANOTHER four action turn. But the designer said they are adding action tokens to track this, so that will help!
23:00 - Water should also get one wisdom when you built that temple.
26:45 - Apparently the sacred site automa values are MULTIPLIERS, like for the player. The final player mats will have this correctly noted.

I played this online with the creator (Brandt) & really enjoyed the 4-player game we tried. I keep meaning to play solo online but haven't been able to yet. Thanks for the playthrough! It is reminding me how to play & motivating me too.

That land manipulation aspect of the game is kind of giving me some Populous vibes.

It seems very light, I thought it would be crunchier and more strategic. I do wish there was a way to "block or decrease a bump in wisdom, for example a retaliation of the gods or you were on a tile that fell of the map or were caught in the volcanoes eruption". Great video though!

10:07 This part was a bit unclear. How do you know how much wisdom the automa is gaining? How do you know where to apply that wisdom on its board? The board shows that for a monolith, they gain one wisdom, but then the card says to move up the followers track? But how many, if you are ignoring the monolith track. I don't understand. It seems counter intuitive that you are not moving up the monolith track.

I also played this game with Brandt. The movement of your workers on the board is a key component that perhaps deserves a deeper explanation. Players need to be able to release spaces as they go along so to have the right actions for the future. This is very key in having the right actions available throughout each round.

I got utterly destroyed by the fire demigod, it had over 80 points, more than 20 points difference between him, and me and the sun demi 😂

The art is dreadful..looks like something for pre-schoolers. It maybe an interesting game, but with that art.. no thanks.
