Every year, regardless of what is happening in the world, the Institute for Economics and Peace launches the Global Peace Index, which indicates the Ranking of the safest countries to live in the world. This report presents a total of 163 countries, classifying the security level of each country based on 23 different indicators. The countries listed in this video are ranked based on this year's report. If you want to live or retire in a safe country, these countries may be your best option.

Norway, Iceland or New Zealand are on my list of countries I'd like to visit and consider moving to. NZ works out cheapest and would be the easiest to enter as an Aussie but Norway and Iceland seem more romantic to me lol. This video fails to mention that taxes are very high in Iceland and they have a very volcanically active area...which could be a turn-off for some people. It also skipped over the fact that Japan is the most seismically active country on this list and it's the hardest language for an English speaker to learn.
