These people weren't monsters for not listening to children when they were right about Olaf, they were just stupid. Olaf is the REAL monster, he maybe a wise guy but he's a real fool if he knows otherwise.

It was real pathetic how they didn't listen to the kids at every chance they had.
Especially at 1:08/1:09 When they specifically said *"the play is real"* so she did actually know 😒

Fun fact: When Klaus figures out out the lenses focuses the rays of the sun. He realizes Count Olaf used this mechanism to set fire to the Baudelaire's mansion. Therefore, Klaus decided to use this same contraption to burn the certificate as an act of payback on Olaf.

This means that Count Olaf IS responsible for the death of their parents. So not only was he a thief and a monster, he also committed arson and murder!
