I’m just happy this is finally coming to light. They’ve already gotten over on and through the an entire generation and continue to use the same parts. This is not a new problem, PS4 controllers are exactly the same. We can only hope this changes something.

Ive had my ps4 for almost 5 years and un that time ive bought 3-4 controllers a year....all because one or both sticks have drift issues, this isnt some new thing sadly 😔

Perfect! There's a 2 year warranty on the controller, so I'll be getting a new free controller ever 1-2 years.
