this is the best of British TV - heartwarming and emotional and funny at times too, splendid actors, characters you grow to love and indentify with. Am I correct this is Nicholas Ralph's first TV role? If so, he's doing so well playing James - total nice guy and class act. Samuel West I've been a fan of for a long time, he's terrific as Siegfried.

im no historian on the genre of comedy in television and film, but it seems A large majority of comedy these days is driven by wild antics and behavior and often times focuses on the physical nature of behavior. I can’t get into those films. And I don’t think those films are funny. At all.. Films like step brothers or even ace Ventura are the rare gems. Of course, imho. It’s hard to find comedy these days that makes you think, comedy you have to be paying attention to for it to be funny. Rather than, for example, a super hero who falls to the ground, makes a grunt, cut to a close up of his or her face, and the crowd goes wild laughing. I don’t find the humor. I’d go as far as to say, it’s not funny. So thank you for being funny, for making me think and pay attention and being a breath of fresh air. Season 5 is turning out as fantastic as the prior seasons.
