In the midst of Russia's advances on the battleground, Ukraine is making diplomatic efforts to garner support from India for the upcoming "peace summit" to be hosted by Switzerland. Senior Indian and Ukrainian officials on May 13 held talks regarding the conference. While invitations have been extended to over 160 countries and international organisations, notably excluding Russia, India is yet to confirm its participation in the summit.
