Ukraine only had to do 3 things to avoid war:
1. Giving back Krimea what belongs to russians anyway, russians live there and Khuschrev gave it to Ukraine (he was ukrainian) in the soviet era
2. Giving autonomy to Donbass and giving back the rights of minorities (russians, romanians, hungarians, poles...)
3. Never join to NATO

But no, Ukraine's leadership decided to serve the interests of western countries and decided to provoke a war with Russia. Now they have a country in ruins, their "allies" turn their heads away, they lost hundreds of thousands soldiers and about 15 million citizens left the country. Was it worth?
