She actually made pretty valid points without bashing either phone so i have no idea what you are talking about.

Nice vid. One thing missing tho, how well does the actual phone work? Drops calls? Spotty performance? Ease of in-call features? Take pics and send while in call? Do email in call? Watch vid in call. Can it do video calls Ok? And WHEN is a delete key going to be added to the keyboard?

I love reading all the "Note 2, wish I could afford one."
Sadly April fails to mention that the Nexus 4 is factory unlocked at 299-349 USD.
While the Note 2 isn't, unless you cough up 599+ USD.

I have an iPad mini and a Windows Phone... Nexus 4 is better without iOS.

I am glad that you didn't say "Android sucks". I respect that.

Something that was slightly inaccurate: While the Note2 defaults to a super-saturated color output... you can open the settings, and change to one of four different color output modes.

Your voice is incredible, very professional sounding plus you sound very attractive :P

However, your review talks a lot about software and you never mentioned the fact that with the Google devices they're pure so there are always going to be A LOT of custom roms, kernels and tweaks. Their main market is for people who love Android, want all of the power of higher priced Android devices but at value prices.

All of the features you mentioned are available for the N4

Been waiting for the note 2 since the first one was announced. Hoped Verizon would come to their senses and offer it. Glad they did. Exactly what I am looking for.

I was running 4.2 on my Note 2 and it wasn't buggy at all. You were saying?

My Note 2 arrives tomorrow, I'm so excited. Tw has come a long way and I love it, it has so many options.

You say both phones are plastic. Well you are 100% wrong. The Nexus 4 is practically all glass, with just a small chrome-finish plastic bezel and rubberised sides. GET YOUR FACTS STRAIGHT!!!

This review has definitely been the best comparison, etc. I've seen yet. I bought my Note 2 a couple months ago because of its innovative features, huge screen, processor, S pen posibilites and all that stuff.
The Nexus 4 looks like a really good phone to be able to get the most out of android and Google's functions.
Men will probably like the Note 2 more due to its size, female pockets and skinny jeans don't really cooperate great ;) I've enjoyed every second of this phone and still exploring!

@April,
I don't know how long you've been doing vid's, I've only seen a few from you. But seems to me that you're getting better very quickly, you didn't seem wooden this time around.
love the very analytical dissection.

The screen doesn't actually flicker IRL...That's just what happens when you try to record with a camera.

I loved your voice!! Google should invite you to be GoogleNow's official voice.

ixels per inch, it's a measurement of how many pixels the display has by the size of the screen. It doesn't make a difference unless you look at your screen extremely close, which it will then show you the pixels borders

Note2...is amazing. I've had mine for a week. Yes its huge but it gets smaller and more comfortable every time I pick this beauty up. My previous phone was the Galaxy Nexus and I loved it. But this device is my fifth and favorite Android I've owned yet.

You should also note that of the two only the note 2 will work on cdma networks (verizon, sprint) the nexus 4 will only support gsm networks (att, tmobile)

The note2 is objectively the best hands down (I've had one for a few months now and it's fantastic) however the factor she didn't mention was that it's nearly TWICE as expensive as the nexus. The value for money in the google corner is off the charts, but no expandable storage or LTE kills its appeal for many and I continue to recommend the note2 to anyone as long as they're prepared to live with a huge phone.
