I FINALLY FIGURED OUT HOW TO UPDATE MY SPARK GO FIRMWARE! For me, I tried different USB ports, restarting computer, tried both PC and Mac multiple times and nothing worked. Finally, when I tried a different USB cable other than the one that came with my Spark GO, this fixed it for me! If you can't get this to work, please give a different.cable a try and see if this works for you.

Is really necessary to backup the tones to dropbox before the firmware update? They already saved in the app so they will not disappear after firmware upgrade. Or is only for those custom tones saved in the spark go itself, that will be deleted during the upgrade?

Cant detect the amp😂😂😂 literally plugged into win 10 pc using your cable. Tells you not to turn on the amp...it turns on as you plug it in. It should be this difficult to update.

The exe file is not downloadable in google's chrome browser. I think this video should be updated.

I love the Spark GO, to the point that I have two of them. But, really, this firmware upgrade is as bad as it can be for Windows users. I am not a Mac person, so I hope it is easier for them. I am not even sure why I needed to update the firmware and why it needs to be updated using a computer. The unit has a Bluetooth connection, and it has an application on my phone that can be updated via Bluetooth for the application and then for the unit. The engineers of Spark can do better than this; common, this is 2024. I tried everything, and the unit just keeps turning on automatically, playing the music to the maximum volume without being able to control the volume, etc, etc.

I was just gifted the Spark Go as a holiday gift, but if I can't fucking update this shit I'm going to have her send it back.

Nobody has a necessity for PCs or Macs anymore and most people don't have one, so how TF are we supposed to update your shit using our phones? Maybe lead with that next time instead of targeting a niche audience.
