Accutane Transformation Timelapse #shorts

Показать описание
Over the course of 6 days, a massive zit spawned on my chin. That is when I knew I had enough. I decided to document my 5.5 months on Accutane, but as you can tell, I was pretty lazy with my "daily" pictures.
I took Accutane from July 2021 - December 2021. If the hundreds of nasty boils wasn't enough, another primary motivator was to not have to worry about acne during my grad school interviews in October/November. As you can see in the video, my acne was like 60-70% gone after 2 months and 90% after 3 months. However, one annoying issue was severely chapped lips. Essentially, much my lips were peeling off at all times and I had to use lip balm excessively throughout each day. I got called out about my extremely dry lips by a friend at work, and my lips most likely got attention from my grad school interviewers. Still much less annoying or noticeable than acne, so it was fine by me. That said, the first month on Accutane was pretty... bumpy to say the least... And on the subject of side effects, the sides of my mouth would sometimes rip and I wore long sleeved clothes whenever I went outside (Accutane makes users especially prone to sunburns). Overall, the side effects were not bad at all and were completely worth the results. 100% happy with Accutane.
In a completely unrelated note, I want to attempt another one of these "selfie timelapse" videos, but this time with better lighting and more focused on interesting backgrounds in South America (instead of being extreme close ups of my now-smooth face). Stay tuned! And check out a website I started building, which will house said video. It's very much a work in progress but maybe it'll turn into something more someday.
