He's suffering from burnout. Worked super hard to achieve everything and now he doesn't know what to be excited about.

This guy isn’t bragging, we spend so much time focusing on getting OUT of debt, that once you get to the other side you need to figure out what to do. 250k isn’t a lot of money, if you think that’s rich you’re out of your mind. You can’t retire young on 250k. That’s a 50k salary for 5 years, that’s NOT a lot of money.

He’s trying to figure out how to turn it into a $60k salary for the rest of his life which is absolutely reasonable if he’s out of debt to live off comfortably without being extravagant.

If you think he’s trying to brag, then you’re way too far behind getting your finances under control to criticize anyone else...

This dude doesn't need financial advice. He needs life coaching

It's almost sounds like a midlife crisis; 45, no family, no businesses to take up his time.

No debt. House paid off. 250k in the bank. I'd continue to work, but start enjoying your money you worked so hard to save. I know far too many people who died at 45. 55. 60 years old. Unexpectedly. Just shift gears into a work you enjoy and stay active. Be wise with your cash but don't become the richest man in the graveyard either.

Biggie once said, "Mo Money, Mo Problems" never thought boredom would be one of them.

I know exactly how he feels. Worked hard, built wealth completely debt free. I retired at 42 haven't worked since. Now 50 I'm bored out of my mind. I traveled and saw the world now traveling is boring. Thinking about going back to work and unsure of what to do. Every day I wake up without purpose it's hard to deal with. When friends and family get up to go to work and school. I'm left just thinking all day. I volunteer whenever needed but that's sporadic as well.

I actually get it. We get addicted to stress and worry. It’s happened to me, twice. And I sabotaged myself back into debt, twice. Crisis is addictive if that’s all you’ve ever known. 😔 I wish I had found DR much sooner.

It’s like reaching max out level in a game. You’ll get bored.

I've been there. Accomplished a lot in short period of time. Pretty much retired at 31. Life felt meaningless at 1 point. Got stupid...tried dumb stuff and lost almost all of it. Now back in the grind and hustle. But I tell ya, its better to be bored than stressed.

He's bored because he has nothing to work for. He needs to set some goals and get a life! He must not be married.

250k really isn't that much if you don't have a full time job/income creating additional cash flow.
