Peter is an outcast nerd, not an hyperactive talkative irritating know-it-all dork. The way he comes up to the scientist and shows how he knows all about science is the one thing Peter would never do. He's only unable to shut up when he dons the red suit, as Parker he is shy and is pretty much invisible. Hate this reincarnation

what i dont really like is how they are portraying Peter. I think they should have gone with a much more subtle approach to it instead of having constantly speaking out and stuff. Peter is supposed to be a shy, quiet, self doubting kid who is also a genius. He should be a character who should be able to blend in to a crowd of side characters.

I kind of understand why Peter would act this way; he's always been shown as a lover of science and almost every adaptation of him going to Oscorp and seeing all of the tech he's always been excited. However what DOESN'T make sense is how overly excited and extroverted they made him. There's a fine line on how much to make him excited and I feel they went overboard.

I don't know about anyone else but I prefer the more quiet Peter Parker. Not this know it all, constantly interrupting, hyper Peter. His voice isn't so bad, but it might get annoying after a while. The animation could be better, it seems too bland. It's watchable, I guess, but it doesn't really draw my attention. First impressions are mediocre, but I'll still watch it to see if it improves.

Ugh, when will the writers realize spiderman is the one who isnt afraid to speak his mind and make quips.
Peter is supposed to be the shy awkward one. Thats what makes him a interesting character. He feels powerful as spiderman. Making him into a annoying little kid and a annoying little kid as spiderman destroys what he is.

It's interesting how Peter participates in his own ridicule here. He's like a token, that weird quirky kid that people laugh at but no one would be caught dead hanging out with. And he likes being laughed at because that's his only way of being accepted. Could be a cool new take on Peter's nerdiness if done right
